Installing your IFU

The IFU is like the 'brain' of your system. It will find your cameras and connect them to our platform. In this section we will run through getting it plugged in for the first time.

The IFU must be plugged in at all times for your system to work! Please always check this first before trying anything else if your system is not working.

Connect the IFU into one of the ethernet ports on the back of your broadband router.

Note: There are often 4 yellow ports labled LAN on your router. These are the correct ports to use. DO NOT use the red "WAN' port if you have one. It will not work.

Connect the IFU into the power and turn it on.

Helpful Tip: If the lights above the network port start flashing, the device is working.
