Transmitter Set Up

How to set up your Transmitter

Follow these simple steps to get your transmitter working.

1

Plug the Single Port Transmitter Power Supply into the mains.

2
Plug the “yellow” port on the power supply into one of the LAN ports on your broadband router. These are usually coloured  yellow.
3

Plug the cable into the power port and run this up to the transmitter.

4

Mount the transmitter on the wall using the two screw mounting slots.

5

Remove the connection cover by lifting the tab and then sliding it down to remove.

6

There are 2 connections on the transmitter. The unused connector will have a blanking plate in it. You can leave this in it - this connector is not normally used.

7

Insert the cable into the WAN port as shown in the diagram

8
Replace the connection cover
9
A drip loop will stop any water tracking back down the cable into the transmitter connection

10
Assemble the Transmitter Mounting Pole by inserting the pole into the bracket. Line up the holes in the pole with the holes in the bracket.
11
Insert the long bolt through the top hole of the bracket through the pole and out of the other side. Put the nut on the end of the bolt and tighten.

12
Insert the smaller bolts inside the pole and out of the bracket. Loosely tighten with the nuts.

13
Adjust the position of the pole by sliding it to the desired position and then tighten the nuts to secure its place.

14
Mount the transmitter on the wall using the four screw mounting slots.

15
Secure the transmitter to the top of the pole using the cable ties provided.
