My camera is not working - Finding the issue
1
Go to the "Settings" page and click on "Manage Devices"
2
Once on this page, you will see which devices are online or offline
Everything is online
If everything is online but you do not have an image coming through then your system has probably crashed. You can reboot your system using the "Reboot System" on the settings page.
If this does not work then please try a hard reset. You can see how to do that here.
My IFU is offline
If your IFU is offline then your whole system will be offline.
1
The first thing to check is that the IFU is still connected. (If you are unsure of how this should be connected then please check
connecting my IFU.)
2
If your IFU is still connected but not online then please try
rebooting your IFU by pulling out the power and plugging it back in again.
If you need some more help with IFU troubleshooting then you can find more information here.
My house transmitter is offline
If your IFU is offline but the transmitter on the house is not then there are three options that could be the issue. The easiest way to locate the issue is to check the lights on the side of the transmitter. Please click here to find out what the lights on your transmitter mean.
1
The transmitter is not connected correctly.
Check the lights on the side of the transmitter to troubleshoot the problem. (To find out how the transmitter is connected at your house please
2
The second reason could be the cable is damaged. The best way to test this is to try plugging the transmitter in with a different cable and see if the transmitter lights up.
3
The transmitter is broken. If you have checked all of the connections and tried a different cable then the issue could be with the transmitter. Please contact the AgriCamera team to order a replacement.
Everything at the shed is offline
If everything at your house is online but the shed is offline then there are 6 potential issues with the system. It is important to follow these troubleshooting steps before calling up the AgriCamera team as they will ask you to go through them on the phone and it will save time if this has already been done. The issues could be:
1
The transmitter is not connected.
Please check the lights on the side of the transmitter to see if the transmitter is lit up. (To find out how the transmitter is connected at your shed please
click here) You can also check the
lights on the weatherproof power supply where the transmitter plugs in.
2
The second reason could be the cable is damaged. The transmitter will not be lit up if this is the case. The best way to test this is to try plugging the transmitter in with a different cable and see if the transmitter lights up.
3
The transmitters cannot connect to together. If both transmitters are lit up but the second transmitter is offline then the two
transmitters cannot connect. Please make sure that the transmitter are pointing in the right direction and they have a good line of sight. If this is not possible please speak to the AgriCamera team and they will find a solution for you.
4
The power supply is not connected. Please open up the weatherproof power supply and check all of the connections. To see what lights should be on the power supply please read
this document.
5
The transmitter is broken. If you have checked all of the connections and tried a different cable then the issue could be with the transmitter. Please contact the AgriCamera team to order a replacement.
6
The power supply is broken. If there are no lights on the power supply and it is switched on then please contact the AgriCamera team.
My Camera is offline
If the transmitter on your shed is showing as online but the camera is offline then there are 3 possible faults:
1
The camera is not connected. Please check the lights on the weatherproof power supply where the camera plugs in.
2
The second reason could be the cable is damaged. There will be no lights on the power supply for the camera if this is the case. The best way to test this is to try plugging the camera in with a different cable and see if it comes back online.
3
The camera is broken. This is highly unlikely as the cameras do not often break. Once you have checked all of the connections and cables then please contact the AgriCamera Team for more assistance.
