Power Supply Lights
In this article, you will see what the lights on the power supply mean and how you can use them when troubleshooting your system.
Power light
Any camera or transmitter can be plugged into a power port.
The link port is used to connect two power supplies together.
If a transmitter or camera is plugged into a port then both the power and connection light should be on.
The power light is the green light above the link port. This will always be on if the power supply is connected. If it is not on then please check the power is connected.
The orange light on the power ports will be lit up if something is connected over the cable plugged into the port.
If you are using the link port then the orange light will be on as well.
Do not plug a transmitter or camera into the link port.
If one of these lights are not on then please go to our troubleshooting guide to find out where the issue might be.
Transmitter/Camera ports
When a camera or transmitter is connected into the weatherproof power supply then both lights should be on. The green light shows the camera is getting power and the orange light shows that the camera is sending a signal.
